Functions of the cell

1. • To consider and follow the recommendations of the apex body AICTE and the affiliating university JNTUH regarding the courses of study syllabi of programmes, examinations and project extra.
2. • To prepare academic calendar and ensure the adherence to the dates mention in the academic calendar for conducting various activities by each department.
3. • To monitor and compile the data relating to student attendance and submit the report.
4. • To prepare the report on academic performance of students and encourage the students with academic awards and scholarships.
5. • To prepare the report on examination practices in the college, internal examinations, evaluation, recording etc.
6. • To promote innovations in teaching learning.
7. • To encourage faculty members to undertake sponsor research, continuing education and related activities.

Roles and Responsibilities Chairman:-

• The chairman presence the agenda of the meeting before the committee and initiate the session.

• Chairman is responsible for drafting, regulating and implementing different academic policies.

Members:-

• Prepare the academic calendar of the department.

• Monitors functions of class teachers.

• Approving the internal assessment marks of the students.

• Monitors the student’s feedback.

• Monitors the faculty performance and analyzing the results.

• Prepare the action plan as well as suggest measures for improvement.

• Monitors and controlling student discipline in the campus.

• Shall prepare minutes of the meetings and circulated after obtaining approval of the chairman.
